This is one of several that glasshouseslive's fella made for Valentine's Day. It appealed to the lingering sense of wrongness I feel about the holiday, despite being really, really in love and enjoying getting presents and all that. I've known a lot of people who were with a person they really hated, and that arrangement has always puzzled me. Plus, I thought it was dang funny.


This is an icon hominysnark made for me, because I liked the picture so much. Every time I use it I fear offending the sweet young thang who posed with me. Some of you know him as "Frisco" and he was a dear. Game for letting me hold a sharp bit of metal to his throat, in any case. He tried to get me to do the Arwen/Aragorn couch snugglies, but I just couldn't do it. He was too hot, and I am too virtuous. *cough* ( Original picture behind the cut. )


This one is a character from an anime version of The Count of Monte Cristo called Gankutsuo. It was either taken from some anime materials or else it is original fan art. I don't know. I DO know that I dig revenge fantasies, and Gankutsuo tells the Monte Cristo story without all that Christian forgiveness mucking things up. *wink* It's a great anime, once you get used to the shifting patterns of the art style. Really gutted me at one point. The Japanese can be harsh.


This is cut from a postcard hominysnark bought, then scanned and sent to me because it reminded her my descriptions of the Jayol character in my novel Boyhouse. I had to agree. I'm pretty sure I no longer have the entire picture-- I think it was lost in one of the crashes.
