I don't think I could craft a polite email after that story. Edgy but not quite biting, perhaps. But not polite.

They are usually pretty nice about stuff. I should have predicted this and taken steps to take care of it, but Big Boy has the same kind of lenses, and nobody at the Intermediate school said anything. However, there was a lady who made a remark at the carpool loading area about his "sunglasses" but she didn't say it was against the rules. It was just, "He's wearing those funny little sunglasses, today." There was no time to say anything then, but I'm sure there will be all sorts of people with something to say about it eventually.

They don't call it Stepford Elementary for nothing.
