Ack! Your husband would have been dead! I have this irrational fear of cockroach (yes, I know I live in India go figure) that I scream and cry and jump around like a little girl and hen have to wash my hands over and over and over again just thinking about them. Thankfully, the boys think their tasty and tend to eat them.

Congrats on the story zone and also GC. I feel horrible about my lack of committment to it lately. Sigh...I just need to find more geeky things!

I'm irrational about them, too. In his defense, I made him kill it and clean it up while listening to a chorus of my screams. Also, we have a small place, and he was heading out the door and I was between him and the door. So when he turned my way and I instinctively screamed and ran, he sort of got caught up in the moment. ;)

Don't feel bad about GC - I think the reason I feel so good about the website is that I don't have to pressure anyone, and don't want anyone to feel pressured. It's supposed to be fun! ;)
