So, that is how I logged on and found out that the *person* behind the counter at Gelatos tacked a $2.00 tip onto my nearly $4.00 coffee, which I bought only as a gesture of goodwill and was given a ton of bad grace to go along with it. So, I didn't tip. Perhaps I should have tipped her anyway, but I didn't. When someone hands you something over a counter (not table service), I figure the tip is for personality more than anything.
I still have my receipt, and am sorely tempted to make a thing about it, because of the sheer level of bitch this person was throwing around. Grar.
At the same time, I understand that making a thing out of it will only escalate the badness. Still. It wrankles.
