First, there was
abrynne's Star Trek Captain Poll Results Show, which was a hilarious follow up to this poll update.
I dunno about you guys, but she tickles my funny bone.
Then, we had to have an announcement of sorts so the folks who read the feed would know about the new poll, The Kick-Ass Femmes of Scifi and Fantasy. It was a tough thing, narrowing down the list with the help of
narniadear. It still came out quite Joss-Whedon-Character heavy, but those are the breaks.
The hardest part was not having a new Doctor Who companion on the list, but we're going to have a Who Companion poll later on in the year, so there's that.
I'm knackered. People are writing things so fast that giving them all their due time at the top is a challenge. I'm trying to break up the longer posts with shorter, fluffier things thrown in, and my list of both is quite long. I think I shall have to make a regular schedule soon. Like, new posts at 6am, noon and 6pm EDT. Then maybe I could also put up some fluff right at bed time, too.
Our stats are staying really high. Well, high for us, which may be the new norm. :) I'm still spending a lot of time editing, though so not making much progress on the articles I wanted to get done. It'll work out, though.
I think it may be healthy enough to survive a little webmistress neglect while moving house takes up more of my time and attention, and I have a brave lieutenant willing to pick up some of the slack.

The Who companions poll better have Liz Shaw in, that's all I'm saying.
