Wow.

narniadear and abrynne went all over LJ pimping their Favorite Geek Boys to various fan communities yesterday.
Some of my faves fell down in the rankings, so my inner wacky fangirl kicked in and I did likewise.
Long story short GeekaChicas exploded. Not that the servers crashed or anything, but tons of people came to vote, some hung around, and some registered. :)
Then I postedabrynne's review of the TV show Life (called Life in an Insecure Universe ) and somehow managed to break the front page. Just a little. The poll went down to the bottom, below the older articles.
I finally figured out how to fix it, but not before my Beloved deleted and reloaded the template. He didn't seem to mind that it was a wasted effort, and was proud of me for fixing it on my own. :)
In any case, I think our petulant grab for votes for our favorite Geek Boy may have resulted in the site actually connecting with several fandoms (of which we are unabashed members).
This is fun. :)
