I shouldn't be surprised, but evidently The Catholic Church has found a way to blame women for male infertility -- specifically, those sinful harlots who use oral contraceptives, -- despite the fact that there is no scientific support for their claim. *facepalm*

Did I once read a Japanese ghost story about a ghost with venomous urine? I think I did. In any case, the phrase "ghost with venomous urine" has been going through my head since I read that article. I have the image of a spectral woman, a la The Grudge, roaming the world wailing and moaning, exacting revenge for so-called honor killings and human trafficking and all that other crap. "OoooOOOOoooo!!! I emasculate you with my super-scary pee!!!!"

I guess I'm just not capable of taking this seriously anymore. The need to blame us uppity womenfolk for the worlds ills, and the ability to do it with a straight face... It just blows my mind.
