Ack! The List, She is Getting Longer!

I made a list this past weekend of all the things that need writing about for the website, and all the video projects I'd like to tackle, too. It just keeps getting deeper. I think I might have to start asking people if they want to take some of them off my hands.

I'm writing, still, and pretty happy with how it's going. I've nearly gotten to the place in the shapeshifter novel I was in the story when I lost a chunk due to the hard drive crash, and I've worked out pretty much the ending of HMOWK, thanks to hominysnark letting me bounce some things off her, and giving me sound advice and encouragement. If I can pull either of these stories off the way I want to, they are going to rock. Heh. Wish me luck.

I also want to stroll around my neighborhood with a camera, so I can show you guys all the cool stuff in my neighborhood. We walked to WOW Wingery last night, then to Whole Foods and home with our groceries. It was awesome. I am so frickin' in love with this town. Even the fact that many businesses closed yesterday in anticipation of Ida possibly hitting near here, did not dampen my enjoyment of walking around. (We'll get some rain, but they are not anticipating anything the system can't deal with. Besides, I'm in Uptown, where we're above sea level.)

I don't mind at all - that way is much easier for me, in fact. ;) I've given you access to the 'public back end' which sounds kind of naughty, but isn't.

The multi-blogger software is a little different, so here's a short video explaining how to use it. The version in the video is a little older, but it's basically the same (and what isn't is simple enough):

When you upload something, the site will notify me. I'll make some minor editorial adjustments (the software sometimes eats line breaks when you post, so I just go in and make sure they stick, that sort of thing). I might also add a brief intro, linking to your blog and identifying you as a special guest blogger/blogging rock star. ;) Then, I'll publish it.

I am ridiculously excited about having you guest blog, just so you know. :)

I got it! No worries. The software used to give you the option to save OR save&close, but the upgrade automatically closes. Stupid upgrade.

I think I'll have it go live in the morning here (probably... early afternoon for you? I'm a dunce with time zones). If I can set it to post while I'm still abed, I will.

By the way, wonderful article. It needed to be said. I saw much of Sarah-Jane's time with The Doctor back in the 80s (though it was on PBS, and that never at predictable times, because the show was used as filler). I always rather liked her, and now my boys follow her series avidly. (I obtain it by means of the FanGirl Network.) In any case, I'm excited to have it! Thank you so much.
