No, really. Jesse has a Geek Me News! up on GeekaChicas today, regarding the latest leaks on the upcoming Batman movie. Whee!

In other news, I've begun the next phase in my sons' Geek Education. This time, it's the X-Files. We started with the first season, which is a mixed bag. I think "Shadows" was the first X-Files I ever saw, and it was pretty good. Yesterday we saw "Ghost in the Machine" which was probably the worst X-Files episode ever (and no, I have not forgotten the Jesus Christ Banana Slug). Seriously. The acting was shrill. "Scruffy brains" my lily-white corpus callosum.
Also, it's more dated than most X-Files, just because of the look of the technology. The big brick computer monitors are still largely in use in some Federal agencies and all, but let's face it - tech ages much more quickly than David Duchovny. (Also, what a cutie! Is it sad that I love his nose? Always had a thing for strong profiles...) Oh, Geez! Here I go again:
Oh, Daddy!
For a while, I can forget the suck that overtook that once-beloved cultural phenomenon, and just love it. Krychek shows up in season 2, right? (Saw Nick Lea on V recently, and *man* has he aged well.)
