A Twist of Things to Come

Life has gotten a tad complicated for me recently. Nothing terribly interesting, just crazy busy. I have a lot of responsibilities and a lot of things going on. Mostly I can keep it all going just fine, but sometimes... not so much.

That said, after some talks with two or three trusted readers, I feel very good about the novel. I think when it's finished I'll have something worth buying. The matter now is setting goals and getting it out.

I'm going to finish this before my birthday. There, I said it. This is do-able. Oy.

In GeekaChicas news, yesterday we had Amalia The Savage's intriguing The Precedent of Dual Fatherhood and Jesus, exploring the similarities and differences between ancient myths and relatively modern religions.

Today, after much wrangling, I finally posted From the Mailbag: A Dissenting Opinion on Dollhouse - in which I make public an email response I got to my Dollhouse article from a couple weeks ago. It's fun and all, but the formatting on the letter itself seems to be borked, despite my best efforts in the WYSIWYG editor, where it looks fine. It also looks fine on the feed:
