A Twist of Things to Come

In frustration that the AT&T DSL was so terribly inconsistent (due to a problem outside our home, somewhere), the hubby canceled our service and signed up with the cable company. Thta was great, except for the lag time between canceling one and getting the other.

So, I was using a cell phone internet connection to do regular maintenance at GeekaChicas. I found I was not patient enough with the connection to post links here, but now that it's screaming fast... Well, here we go:

First, we had Pearce's Anybody Wanna Go In With Me on This? about how awesome it would be to buy the space shuttle. :D And build our own station on the moon, and find our own Vulcans (because in the end, it's all about the poon tang).

Then, we granted honorary Chicahood to guest blogger Jessenovels, for his article The Next Batman Film, in which he makes some interesting (and controversial) predictions. Our first ever boy blogger! Maybe we shouldn't have made him wear the chainmail undies...

After that, we had a short fluff video piece, Creepy/Cool Bag Monsters, featuring the street art of Joshua Allen Harris.

And finally, our blog today is Sweet Clementine's take on the Sherlock Holmes film, from the perspective of a longtime Holmes fan, From Watson to Holmes, With Love... which is not at all slashy, despite the title.

I have to say, I'm pleased to report that the site's traffic and earnings have remained somewhat higher than before the spike brought to us by Whedonesque.

Also, we have garnered our first crank! I am ridiculously excited about this. We've had spambots and minor trolls, but this one is a genuine crackpot. Hee!
