We're going to Pensacola for Thanksgiving, leaving this evening. The place where we'll be has free internet in the lobby, so I'll be checking in occasionally and doing website stuff, but I imagine it will be not terribly busy in this space for a bit.
Over at GC we have Letters Between Theseus and Pirithous in the Not-Yet-Of Troy series. We're wrapping that up by teh end of the month, with the last one posted Monday. It's exciting to me to see what she's done with the myths.

We had a Park Day with the homeschooling group, and I got to meet a few more moms who were local and super helpful about all sorts of things. The Jewish Community center offers drama and dance and other fun stuff, and it's pretty close. Plus there is a lot of artistic stuff the 11 and older set can do at NOCCA, so I'm hoping to get Big Boy into that.
It was chilly. I even wore a jacket part of the time. *snrk* It was fun to see my lanky boys hanging out with the other 'big kids'. Their buddy E. brought a copy of V for Vendetta (I think mostly to show how awesome Moore is, because he had no time to read). I was the ride for the K family, so afterward we stopped by the comic book store, which Wee Boy loved and Big Boy did not. The Ks live walking distance from the store, so by mutual agreement we left them there.

The writing continues. I have committed to doing it every day, even though it doesn't always work out perfectly on the first pass, and the story grows. I'm in love with it.
HMOWK is essentially ready to go. I will send it out for beta before we leave, but I won't post it until next week because I figure everyone's busy with holiday stuff. Probably.
