A Twist of Things to Come

I have blisters on my feet from all the walking, but it was fun. There was some family fun on Friday, followed by a huge block party on Saturday evening. Yesterday we hit the zoo again, and used book stores, small book stores, a comic book store, then finally found what we were after at Borders. (Apparently there is a reason they're squashing the little guy. *sigh*)

Wee Boy has a new Manga obsession, called One Piece.

I signed up for NaNo, against my better judgment, and I haven't killed anyone yet. :D

In GeekChicas news, the addition of fiction and some new bloggers has shot our stats up another bump. Whee!

I'm really excited about Pearce's new offering today, because it resonated with me. It's called 'Cause I'm a Blond (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!) and it made me laugh so hard. Also, it's very true -- underestimate us at your peril!
