Up for a walk in the pink, pre-dawn glow, the heavy New Orleans air wrapped around us like a hot, sodden blanket. My beloved tells me that ladies in New Orleans don't sweat -- they glisten. That left me wondering whether one could be said to 'glisten like a pig.' Still, I love the long walks with my darling. Today he asked me if there was anything I was resisting, writing-wise, and I didn't have an answer.
It's very rainy here. Not really rainy, more like low clouds and a lot of moisture in the air. *shrug* I guess that's just Nawlins.
