A Twist of Things to Come

Just had to take a moment to mention Nightsky's article, Feminism in Doctor Horrible: The Problem with Penny . I must say it something that had crossed my mind, and a perspective I had not considered.

Which reminds me, earlier this week the Big Boy and I watched "Once More with Feeling..." which didn't really make the best use of the actors' vocal talents (where some existed to begin with). For example, James Marsters sings passably well, but Spike's numbers didn't suit his voice, I think.

I got about 2,000 words in yesterday, so that is good. Most of them were on the novel, which is even better. I have not yet made much headway into finding a local, RL writing group, and considering my past history with such groups, it may not be the best idea I ever had.

I'm working on a new short story, featuring scary fairies. *shrug* I drew a picture to go along with it, which I may share when we get back from Georgia.

I'm trying really hard not to dread the Georgia trip. We've just got to get everything else out of that house. Ack.
