A Twist of Things to Come

I had a heck of a time posting hominysnark's Uwe Boll review/snarkfest on GeekaChicas yesterday/last night. The code was fighting me a bit because I didn't eat a proper dinner, and my session kept timing out. But the hubby saved the day by resetting the session length. I didn't know how to do it. *shame* I did try though.

In any case, I'm still having fun. I just wonder how I'm going to be able to do what needs doing, make time to learn what I need to learn, and still work on content of my own. I'm hoping that the more I learn, the less time I will have to dedicate to learning stuff and the easier doing it will be. *whew*

What's cool is that articles are beginning to get comments I cannot directly link to people who know me or the writers, which is good. I was confident that the content would speak for itself, but now people are reading, and connecting with it enough to comment. I'm so proud of the Chicas!

In other GeekaChicas news, it seems that yourprecious has been approached to write for some other Geek sites. I said from the beginning that I wanted to make 'em all Internet Rock Stars *g* so I'm chuffed about that.

I hope to get some non-website writing done this weekend, if things let up a little. I don't want this lj to become too one-note -- I'm just really excited by what I'm doing. ;)
