A Twist of Things to Come

Friends of mine insist they have been telling me I would love Jonathan Coulton, but I don't remember it. Enter Rock Band, and "Still Alive" from Portal, with its cracky non sequiturs... I was intrigued. Then my BIL law played "Skullcrusher Mountain" and I knew it was love. ;) It's a sort of love ballad from the point of view of an evil genius. Hits the crack spot every time.


The part that really gets me every time is this:

I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you
But I get the feeling that you don't like it
What's with all the screaming?
You like monkeys, you like ponies
Maybe you don't like monsters so much
Maybe I used too many monkeys
